Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is an Indian central public sector undertaking. It is under the ownership of Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India. It is based in New Delhi, India. Established in 1956, BHEL is India’s largest government owned power generation equipment manufacturer.

Stipend :- 

Trade Apprentices:

  • Fitter: Rs. 8,050/-
  • Welder: Rs. 7,700/-
  • Electrician: Rs. 8,050/-
  • Turner: Rs. 8,050/-
  • Instrument Mechanic: Rs. 8,050/-
  • Machinist: Rs. 8,050/-
  • Motor Mechanic: Rs. 8,050/-
  • Mechanic R & AC: Rs. 8,050/-
  • COPA: Rs. 7,700/-

Technician Apprentices: Rs. 8,000/-

Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 9,000/-

Qualification :- 

Trade Apprentices:

  • High School Pass and ITI Pass as a Regular Full-Time candidate of the last Three years, from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute.
  • An NCVT/SCVT certificate is required for all Trades except the Welder.
  • NCVT shall only be considered for welders.

  • High School Pass and Diploma pass as a regular full-time candidate in the last FIVE years, from Govt. a recognized institute, with minimum 60% marks for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates and minimum 50% marks for SC/ST Candidates.

    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Computer Engineering/Information Technology
    • Civil Engineering
    • Electronics & Communication Engineering

Graduate Apprentices:

  • Passed in 10+2 and Graduation in Engineering or Technology as a regular full-time candidate with minimum 60% marks for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates and minimum 50% marks for SC/ST Candidates, from a government-recognised Institution/University.
  • Discipline:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Civil Engineering
  • Passed in 10+2 and Graduation in Arts (B.A) as a regular full-time candidate.
    • Discipline: Assistant-HR

Note: Candidates who have completed full-time Degree courses/Diploma courses mentioned in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024 will only be eligible for applying in apprenticeship training in 2025.

Duration of Training: The duration of Apprenticeship Training will be for a period of one year from the date of joining as per Apprentices Act, 1961.

Age Limit (As on 01 February 2025): Minimum 18 and Maximum 27 years

Age Relaxation: 5 years is admissible to SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates in the upper age limit. In the case of PwD (with minimum 40% disability), a relaxation of 10 years is admissible in the upper age limit.

 

Selection Process :-

  • Selection will be based on fulfilling the notification conditions.
  • The merit list will be drawn based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination.
  • In case of a tie-in mark at the selection stage, the candidate scored higher marks in the qualifying examination, and an older candidate would be preferred.

Important Dates :-

  • Online Application Opening On: 05 February 2025 (10.00 hrs)
  • Online Application Closing On: 19 February 2025 (23.45 hrs)
