Position :- Journeyman

Job Location :– Kolkata

Salary :- 

  • 1st Year Stipend: ₹24,000/- per month
  • 2nd Year Stipend: ₹26,000/- per month

Qualification :- 

  • Matriculation (10 std. pass) with NAC / NTC in Electrician, Diesel Mechanic, Mechanic Diesel, Mechanic (Marine Diesel), Electronic Mechanic, Fitter, Weapon Fitter, MMTM (Machinist Mechanic Tool Maintenance), Machinist, Turner, Machinist (Grinder), Millwright Mechanic, Pipe Fitter, Plumbing, Rigger, Carpenter, Structural Fitter, Fabricator, Sheet Metal Work trade

  • Journeyman (Crane Operator) – 2 Posts
  • Journeyman (Diesel Mechanic) – 5 Posts
  • Journeyman (Driver – Material Handling) – 3 Posts (including 1 backlog)
  • Journeyman (Electronic Mechanic) – 5 Posts
  • Journeyman (Electrician) – 5 Posts
  • Journeyman (Fitter) – 10 Posts
  • Journeyman (Machinist) – 4 Posts
  • Journeyman (Machine Operator) – 4 Posts (including 1 backlog)
  • Journeyman (Pipe Fitter) – 6 Posts
  • Journeyman (Rigger) – 4 Posts

Selection Process :- 

  • The method of selection will be based on the Written Test followed by Practical (Trade) Test.

  • Last Date for Receipt of Hardcopy: 11th August 2025
  • Written Exam Date: To be notified on GRSE website
