Uranium Corporation of India (UCIL) is a public sector undertaking (PSU), under the Department of Atomic Energy for uranium mining and processing. The corporation was founded in 1967 and is responsible for the mining and milling of uranium ore in India.

Salary :-

  • Management Trainees: Rs. 40,000/-
  • Graduate Operational Trainees: Rs. 29,900/-
  • Diploma Trainees: Rs. 29,900/-

Qualification :-

Diploma Trainee (Civil):

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a Government-recognised Engineering College/ Institution

Diploma Trainee (Mechanical/Electrical/ Instrumentation): 

  • Three-year Diploma in the respective engineering discipline with a minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for ST from a Government-recognised Engineering College/ Institution

Diploma Trainee (Mining): 

  • Diploma in Mining Engineering/ Mining & Mine Surveying with a minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST from a Government-recognised Engineering College/ Institution.

Graduate Operational Trainee (CR&D/HPU): 

  • B.Sc. (Chemistry) or B.Sc. (Chemistry-Hons.) with Physics and Maths as subsidiary subjects with a minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for ST.

  • B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering/Computer Sciences.

Management Trainee (Personnel):

  • Degree in any discipline, including that in Engineering and two years full-time PG Degree/ Diploma recognised by statutory authority/Central/State Govt. in Personnel Management, Labour/ Social Welfare, IR, Social work, Social behavioural science, Training & Development OR
  • MBA with specialisation in Personnel Management. OR
  • MBA/PGPM with specialisation in HRD/ Training & Development.

Management Trainee (Electrical): 

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

Management Trainee (Mining): 

  • Bachelor of Mining Engineering or equivalent from a University/ recognised Institution.

Management Trainee (Mechanical): 

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a University/ recognised Institution.

Management Trainee (Chemical): 

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/M.Sc. in Mineral Processing or equivalent.

Graduate Operational Trainee (Chemical/ Survey/ Physics): 

  • B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry & Maths) – 03 years course with a minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST.

Selection Process :-

  • For Management Trainee posts in Engineering disciplines, selection will be based on GATE-2025 scores.
  • For the Management Trainee (Personnel) post, selection will be based on UGC-NET JUNE 2025 scores.
  • Only GATE-2025/UGC-NET JUNE 2025 marks are valid for this recruitment process.
  • Based on the GATE-2025/UGC-NET JUNE 2025 marks and organisational requirements, candidates shall be shortlisted for a personal interview.
  • If there is more than 01 candidate with the same cutoff marks, then all the candidates with the same marks will be shortlisted for a personal interview.
  • The final selection shall be in order of merit based on the total marks scored by the candidate out of 100 marks. The total marks out of 100 marks shall be calculated by assigning 80% weightage to GATE-2025 Score and 20% weightage to Personal Interview, ensuring due reservation.
  • Final selection for posts other than Management Trainees may be made through ‘a written test/ Psychometric Test/ Group Exercise/ Personal interview’ or ‘combinations thereof’ or ‘any other suitable mode of assessment’, depending upon response from the candidates for the respective post.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the further stage of the selection process, as applicable to each post.
