Educational Qualification for REC Recruitment 2024:
For Engineering Positions:
- Assistant Manager (Engineering):
Applicants should have a full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related branches from a recognized institute/university with at least a first division or equivalent CGPA. A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification executive experience is required. - Officer (Engineering):
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech/M.Tech or an equivalent qualification) in fields such as Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or similar disciplines is necessary. A first division or equivalent CGPA from a recognized institution is necessary. Applicants should have at least 3 years of post-qualification executive experience.
For Finance & Accounts Positions:
- Assistant Manager (F&A):
Candidates should have qualifications in Chartered Accountancy (CA) or Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA) with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification executive experience. - Officer (F&A):
Candidates must have CA or CMA qualifications and at least 3 years of post-qualification executive experience.
For Human Resource Positions:
- Officer (HR):
Candidates must have a regular full-time MBA or a Post Graduate Degree/Diploma with specialization in HR or Personnel Management, from a recognized institution. A minimum of 3 years of executive experience after the qualification is required.
For IT Positions:
- Assistant Manager (IT):
A full-time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech) or a Master’s degree (MCA/M.Tech) in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field is required with first division or equivalent CGPA. A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification executive experience is necessary. - Officer (IT):
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (MCA/M.Tech) in Computer Science/IT or an equivalent field is required with a first division or equivalent CGPA. Applicants should have at least 3 years of post-qualification executive experience.
For Fire Safety Positions:
- Officer (Fire Safety):
A full-time Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering from NFSC, Nagpur, or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification executive experience is required.
For Company Secretary (CS) Positions:
- Officer (CS):
Candidates should hold a graduate degree along with Associate or Fellow membership from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Additionally, a minimum of 3 years of relevant executive experience after qualification is required.
For Legal Positions:
- Officer (Law):
Candidates should possess a regular, full-time law degree (LLB) with a minimum of first division or an equivalent CGPA, or a 5-year integrated law course from a recognized university. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification executive experience is required.
For Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Positions:
- Officer (CSR):
A full-time MBA or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Social Work or related fields with first division or equivalent CGPA from a recognized institution is required. Applicants must have 3 years of post-qualification executive experience.
For Secretarial Positions:
- Assistant Manager (Secretarial):
A full-time graduate degree or equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks, 80 w.p.m. in shorthand, 40 w.p.m. in typewriting, and proficient in MS Office. A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification executive experience is needed.
